Spirit in Nature Essences

The Master's Flower Essences were developed in 1977 by Lila Devi. She choose the essences based on the psycho-emotional descriptions of different fruits and vegetables made by the famous teacher and yogi Paramhansa Yogananda (his book Autobiography of a Yogi is a spiritual classic).Yogananda felt that food has a consciousness and by ingesting a certain food we benefit from its vibration. This is particularly true of flower essences which are made from the part of the plant which contains the highest vibration: the flowers.

The name, Master's Flower Essences, also has a further meaning - the attainment of self-mastery and inner freedom. Flower essences can be an important tool to assist us in the process of becoming masters of our own lives. Life is a series of changes, ups and downs, joys and sorrows. The 20 essences which make up The Master's Flower Essences represent the qualities needed to live life in a balanced and harmonious manner.  We may have little control over certain events, but we do have control over how we react to them.

These essences are prepared from organic fruit orchards and vegetable gardens in the Sierra Nevada foothills and the island of Kauai.

In celebration of their 30-year anniversary, the Master’s Essences have taken the new name of Spirit-in-Nature Essences. Why the new name? It represents a new cycle, a new energy and a more expansive description of what these essences are about: finding the Spirit in Nature – within Mother Nature and within our own nature.

Dosage directions
(the same for adults, children, and animals)

2 to 4 drops of Stock concentrate, 4 times a day added to juice, tea or other beverage and taken on an empty stomach, 10 minutes before a meal or one hour after.

To make a dosage bottle: add 2 drops of stock to a 30ml dark bottle, 1 teaspoon of brandy, the remainder spring water. Take 4 drops 4 times a day as above.

For brandy sensitivity, simply put the essences in a steaming beverage, or use topically.

Flower essence may also be added to bath water (16 drops); to lotion or oils (4 drops per 1/2 cup); and to baby's bottle (2 drops).

It is advisable to take the flower essence more often if the need is felt - 10 or even 20 times a day. At bedtime and upon rising are especially important dosage times.

How to know which essences to take?
Look to food cravings for a clue. As a rule, results are quicker and more noticeable when only one essence is taken at a time. For this reason you may need an essence for only 1 to 3 days before moving on to the next. When you begin forgetting your dosage, this usually indicates that another essence is in order.
