Personalised blends without alcohol: a change to our non-alcoholic blends

From 15 June 2025, all personalised blends prepared without alcohol are preserved in organic apple cider vinegar (ACV) rather than vegetable glycerine.

Apple cider vinegar is a more reliable preservative that gives a consistently stable shelf life. The blend itself is unchanged -- the same essences, the same spring water, the same care in preparation.

About organic apple cider vinegar

ACV is a well-established, food-safe preservative with proven antimicrobial properties, and is used by practitioners and essence producers worldwide as a reliable alternative to alcohol.

Your blend contains approximately 33% organic ACV, with the remainder being still spring water and your chosen essences.

Shelf life: up to 6 months from preparation, stored in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, use within 3 months. Refrigeration is not required.

Taste: taken directly on the tongue, you will notice a mild vinegar note. Added to a glass of water, it is not perceptible.

Dropper hygiene: to maintain the integrity of your blend, avoid contact between the dropper and any surface, including the tongue.
